Fighting For Stay On Earth

In the darkness of the shadow

In the sorrowfulness of the meadow

A boy is playing his flute, staying alone

His flute carries a melancholy tune, as he knows he is alone on this earth

It echoes the pain of loss

With no friends or relatives, he has ever known

He survives by playing the flute to earn money

That's his way of staying alive

When villagers are drawn to his music, he can earn money

Otherwise, he suffers from uncertainty

Fighting against his destiny

Remaining unfed

During that time, trees drop fruits

Sometimes sour, sometimes sweet

He sees them as gifts from God

If he finds something sweet, he consumes a lot

If he finds something sour, he shares a little

Sometimes, the magic of his flute playing

Reaches the skies above

Impressing the birds flying high

And then villagers passing by showering him with money

In that journey, he finds miraculous happiness

I must say to all if you see the earth

There are thousands of helpless, poor people

They lack sufficient food to eat

And sufficient clothes to wear

Please share your love and care with them

Send them a little of what you earn

Your caring, and your sharing can soothe their burning bellies

And bring peace to their lives

We are part of them

And they are part of us

So your shares, your cares

Can teach you the true happiness in life

Think of every helpless person as a friend

Love them from the core of your heart

Think of them as singing birds
