"Hey man! What was I missed yesterday?" Santosh asked his college mates curiously in the canteen.
"Oh. We have prayed for the soul of Raju and observed two minutes of silence in yesterday's meeting."
Deepak exhales deeply and says," Poor soul. He hanged himself with the fear of English."
Santosh became restless.
"Come on! What's wrong with him? If he doesn't know much English how it makes a difference. There are many people out there who are earning huge amounts of
money without knowing English. It is just the first week of his engineering course. He might have excelled in English within a semester. I do not know why he did that." Santosh said in an angry tone. "Maybe no one said this like to him", Santhosh said and took a sip of chai.
Deepak said someone should have told him that he can learn good English by practice even though he is from Telugu Medium.
Santosh looked at the volume of books in his bag. They looked like ashes of Raju.
