Chapter 1-Lost lad

In the dark wilderness I could hear hisses, roars and howls. I had goose bumps and shivers up my spine. I was lost. I had come with my school for a nature walk and after an hour my eyes spotted a beautiful squirrel. It had blue stripes, white face and brown eyes. I got so attracted that I followed it without telling anyone. But soon I found myself in a dense, dark and deep patch of the forest. Then the squirrel squeaked very loudly, which made me curious. After five seconds five big, strong and powerful men came and grabbed me. I struggled and shouted, “Hey! Who are you? Why are you taking me? If you need my autograph you should just ask me.” However they were silent.

Chapter 2 – Join Jocular Jackson

After half an hour, they pushed me into a grey, dark and dingy old castle. It felt like I was being pushed into a prison. Then they covered my face with a white cloth. Soon I heard a goblin voice which said, “Who did you get for today’s menu?” When they removed my cloth it wasn’t a goblin, it was a walrus. Seriously?! Am Jackson the walrus, he boomed. And you are so tiny. Why did you get this little human?

Chapter 3 – Walrus World

I was stunned to see a 22 ft. huge Walrus. Besides its size, it looked normal. When I looked around I was amused; I saw big statues of the King Walrus. They were covered with funny joker clothes. Really?! I thought this was a prison! He said “Belcome to Bolrus Borld,” and guffawed. His laugh was so loud that the bodyguards flew away with all the statues. I was about to fly but the walrus grabbed me by his large tusks. Very scared I started screaming, “DON’T EAT ME!”

When he started talking all I could hear was garble, and I went flying and fell with a THUD. ”Ouch, ouch! Please tell me why I’m here,” I said my voice trembling. The fat walrus king bellowed, “We have captured you as revenge for killing us. If you think you have the right to kill us, then we too have the right to kill you too.” “I’m sorry King, but if I apologise to you, will you forgive me?” I said respectfully. However he was adamant and angry. He said, “One human for one walrus”. “Why don’t you kill your bodyguards, they are also humans,” I said, teasing him. At that he shouted, “Keep quiet little brat, there is no time for your silly humour!” This made me mad and I screamed, “You are an unjust and mean king! Why don’t you pick on someone your own size?” After saying that I said, “Look behind you.” As soon as he turned around I made a dash for it.

Chapter 4 – Exhausting Escape

As I was running I realised that five of his secret bodyguards were chasing me. I knew exactly how to outsmart them. I pretended to go to my right but instead, spun and bolted to the left and with a loud THUD they all hit the wall. I locked myself in a room and I found a window. But how would I get up there? “Eureka, there are some vines hanging up here!” Just then I saw a snake hanging from the top of the vines. “Just great, so there are also snakes here,” I sighed. “Hurry up Devyaan, think fast,” I said to myself.

Just then the door behind me started banging, time was running out so I started climbing the vines, not worrying about the snake. Within seconds I had reached the window. I thanked the snake for sparing me! As I was about to jump down I spotted a gigantic moat, but I had no other choice. SPLASH!

I started swimming at full speed and power towards shore with great difficulty. Huffing and puffing I ran into the forest and “Yippee!” I shouted, before fainting. When I opened my eyes I was surrounded by my friends and teachers. “Where were you?” they asked. “I’m sorry I wandered off and got scared and tired and passed out.” In my mind I knew they would not believe my story so I kept my adventure a secret. The only words I uttered after my apology were,” Let’s not kill animals”.
