Good Morning Friends. In today's blog, I am communicating an insight story we all learn from animal dogs. The Story is titled Drop Your Bone.

Once the man was commuting in his car from home to his daily assignments. The car was speeding at about 80 km per hour.

Suddenly, he saw a dog running so rapidly striving to overtake the car so that it could traverse the road.

He was appalled that the car would overrun the dog. He was praying that the dog would increase its speed and cross the road safely. The car was fast moving toward the dog.

Then, he saw the dog unexpectedly increase its momentum and was able to cross the road successfully.

Pheew, he sighed, thanking God it wasn’t hit by the car.

But, there is something, he noticed that fell off before the dog suddenly increased its speed.

He asked the driver, could you please take reverse. I need to see what fell off?.

When he saw what fell off, was one of the greatest lessons learned by him on that day.

The dog let go of the bone.

It was that simple, it reached a juncture where the dog had to let go of the bone to attain momentum and save its life.

The dog proved smarter than man.

Lessons learned.

There are many bones we all had held onto in the year 2020.

If we succeed to let go of the 2020 ‘bones’, then we will do wonders in 2021 and years beyond to come.

There are so many types of bones that for sure have held us back.

Let’s make the painful decision of allowing go of the bones. Let’s not cross over with our bones. Let’s drop them forthwith.

Failure to seek new thoughts or new ways of doing things is a bone for us.

EGO, pretension, contempt, superiority behavior, pride, arrogance, false display of our richness are all bones for us.

Doing things in the same ineffective manner, year by year out is a bone for us.

Thinking that money alone is the source of our happiness; that’s the hardest bone we carry and most difficult to drop.

Going to work late and acting irresponsibly is a bone for us.

Not worshipping God, be it in a home, temple, church, or mosque; that’s a tricky bone, we all need to understand.

Watching our friends fail; yet we could have helped them succeed is bone for us.

Let’s drop the bones so that we have the prosperous new year 2021 and years ahead to come.

These bones which we carry along with us lag us behind from reaching our God-destined journey.
