Imagine a life without colors, without the red, violets, and blues – how dull would it become? The oak leaves wouldn’t be lush green, the soil won’t be fresh brown, the rivers won’t reflect the deep blue sky, the candies would all look the same, the moon would be no different from the sun, and all filters on insta would look alike, there would be no way my mother would be able to settle on which kurti to wear and the subject known as art would most probably cease to exist.

If colors are so important in our life, then why don’t we care to celebrate the colors inside us? Our colors are our emotions, thought process, body language, and perceptions. Our colors shape our day-to-day life decisions and our entire life. But what you assume as your colors are the colors of your parents, friends, relatives, and your environment. Everyone has their palette but they capture the colors of others. And those ‘others’ also captured colors from someone else. Every cell of our universe has its world inside it – it has its colors. But none are its own. The first evolved humans must have also apprehended their emotions, their thoughts – their colors from their surroundings. They gave some part of their color to the next generations as centuries passed. And now, in you, in me, there must be some part of them, even if it is small - it is the basic foundation of being human.

Every time a person becomes successful or unsuccessful, the environment, his friends, his community, and his parents have decided his fate. His own contribution to his success or failure is almost zero. Our colors are precious – they determine our fate in this beautiful world. Learn to appreciate them because whatever you are, it may be all due to the red, violets, and blues.
