Closer To Dreams

The sun is rising, The mood is awesome, Surrounding surreal and calm, And he is smiling with no apparent reason.

He gently picked his Canon EOS 6D, One of the world’s lightest full-frame DSLR cameras equipped with a 20.2-megapixel CMOS sensor. The camera typically encompasses a high precision 11 point Auto Focus system, captured some possible shots and typically found that darkest objects become over dark and brightest objects becomes over bright just like sometimes our aspirations start fading to fulfill the priorities of people we love and live with.

He wanted to share the serenity with her exactly in the same manner as he is experiencing, this induced him to examine Real HDR(High Dynamic Range) technique, so he took one shot at under exposure 0.75 unit, one-shot normal exposure and one shot at positive exposure of 0.75 unit and thereafter he merged these three photos to capture the unreal picture of significant scenery with excellent balance of darkness and most glowing light which brings the striking picture and the more distinct fresh air of thought. He solemnly did not opt for computer graphics to get this perfect click, though he had to put in extra efforts for real HDR technique.

He shared the picture on her mail. Shooting landscape in considerable detail and the best lighting condition remain his passion.  

He's aware of the fact that the width of any camera or an electronic gadget to capture the darkest and the brightest light is limited. It is not similar to our eyesight, and this clarity of his concerned mind is not only restricted to capture pictures and persistently pursue his creative passion but also in other key aspects of life. This cognitive ability of scrupulously observing possible things objectively in his life often propels him to willingly dispense his unsolicited advice to the one who is close to him, he therefore sometimes feels that she is not substantially harnessing her talent and creativity, which is therefore been wasted. He earnestly desires her to fulfill her dream, at least a few of them if not all.

His never-ending business calls and organizational meetings were typically on his consistent schedule. He maintained an interesting monotonous schedule that included work, wine and necessary evil parties for making wide plans to expand his horizons. The forward focus has adequately served him well. He doesn't rest upon the several accomplishments of his past, instead, he commits to intentionally push the reasonable limits of considerable success every day.

She considers his uncontrollable desire for revolutionary change is inspiring, his warmth and dauntless courage is also enduring after all his nice and quirky demeanor is irresistible. 

He typically finds her subtle intellect and progressive views combine to develop naturally a charismatic and optimistic personality. Her kindly eyes and gentle temperament belie the toughness and resolute determination that carefully outlines her distinct character. 

She is working as a Principal in a government school, living dreams of many who look for the same to achieve, but it isn't her dream. She has immense potential and a dream to travel across the globe incessantly. She willfully chooses to settle for what she possessed, happily and contend.

Half-yearly exams were over, she was a bit tired with some other official work while having a fruit break she scrolled her mailbox and was delighted to see his mail with accompanying image, which remarks 'Teaser For friends and family only'.The landscape with several unusual shades inevitably appeared breathtakingly beautiful, splendid green and blue with several hues.

 She mumbled incoherently."I have to wait wearily till the evening or maybe a day or two to appreciate this excellent picture and I will also enable him to know about his recent nomenclature which calls him Busy Bee."

She carefully dropped an appreciation mail which ended up with odd questions -  I want to identify what you are doing? And what keeps you busy all day?

In the evening when he called up, she hurriedly picked up the phone and started with a long pause... Hello!

This signaled him something's wrong so, he started saying, "Dear, I understand that you must be thinking, I am deliberately showing you that I'm busy then you are also aware of the fact this cannot be true in the case with my closest ones so you can't be right this time, Isn't it?"

He always seems to be so sure of himself. A sensitive part of her overwhelmingly wanted to smile, rejoice and say - Yes, I don't want to be right either but, the other part cautioned her to stay away from his peculiar charm and cute excuses.

She has inevitably grown with every personal experience, discovering strength which is new to herself. She received a decent bit of morale boosting from him, since her childhood times and it encourages her.

She squeezes her breath and says, "Hmm! It's all okay, actually, I wanted to inform you that I am leaving for Lucknow tomorrow afternoon."

He replied, "Please don't mind me saying this but seriously I'm thinking you should use your creative energies properly and rightly. Whatever efforts you are putting to ply between two cities, taking care of family and also other this-that, so in the same amount of time you can actually do something substantial by spending the same amount of time because this is the only thing equitably distributed, some use it to become the President of US while others remain, beggars,. So all I'm attempting to advise you why you don't do it efficiently? I see the talent nice being wasted. Sorry if my words hurt you by any chance."

He seldom offers unsolicited advice to anyone except to few close ones and she appreciated it earlier when he suggested her to apply for the job in Red Cross or USAID. However, it was uneasy to develop a thought to resign her present job in her comfort zone and opt for something novel but, this time his words shuffled her thoughts something deep inside. 

She logged on the laptop and filled in the application form DS-174 which is applicable for Foreign Service National (FSN) positions in USAID (The United States Agency for International Development) and USPSC Application Form - Cover Form and Form AID 309-2 which is applicable for U.S. Personal Services Contractor (USPSC) positions. She had downloaded these forms a month ago, today she filled these forms as earnestly as possible, thereafter she scrolled the screen several times before submitting the form. 

She has been shortlisted for the interview got selected for summer hire (seasonal hire) position on a contractual basis. She has been appointed as English Teacher USAID funded Modern School Network program which provides private schools in Gaza the needed help and resources for development. Part of the program was establishing after-school clubs for students to develop hobbies and interests. She was responsible for the English club at various private schools, teaching 5th to 7th graders. US AID is an excellent systematized and well-organized organization. Help many development initiatives and programs that are generating significant change across the world.

It supplied her with confidence, and she regarded this as an opportunity to get associated with an organization whose belief resonates with her belief that, education is a foundation driver of development, and fundamental to achieving self-reliance. Education is a transformation for individuals and societies- it develops pathways to better health, economic growth, a sustainable environment, and peaceful, democratic societies.

The most challenging part of the job was being separated from close family members and loved ones during holidays and special occasions as she has to leave home and be assigned overseas in foreign countries.  

She experienced a fling of thought; it's hard to wait around for something you know might never happen, but it's harder to give up when you know it's everything you desire. 

Why does life have to be complicated? 

'Yes! Indeed, it is, but who said life was easy, there will definitely be the complications and it's up to you to pick it up, to take it inside you and to befriend it.' Off and on your inner conscience answers the best to you, this time it did to her.

Six months later...

After completing her internship, she has been appointed as ESL teacher for students in China by an online company VIPKID; all she requires to accomplish is to set up a confined teaching space in her house and the company will create lesson plans and gathers students for her.

She stepped into his office to thank him for believing in her. It is he who noticed her energy and his words allowed her spirit begins to drop. He has trusted her potential and she, in turn, trusted the part of herself which knows there's more to life, which propels her to defy her own rules of choosing what others wanted her to choose. She always recognized what to do but, never dared to cross the social norms for being available 24 x 7 to the family as in person.

Life is genuine that's the way she prefers. The way you believe and feel about yourself, including your beliefs and expectations about what is possible for you, determines everything that happens to you. When she improved the quality of her thinking, she improved the quality of her life, this time instantly.

 His words inspired her; His thoughts provoked her, and her action brought closer to her dreams.
