Burning Love in the Mist 4
Burning Love in the Mist 4
The gentleman with a yellow shirt faded from her eyes. Tears started rolling down her eyes. Sneha reached home. She conversed with her mother. Rani's face was like a wet weekend because of the departure of her husband. She never lends her ears to Sneha. Sneha seemed to be down in the dumps because her mother never looked at her.
Sneha invited her mother for dinner. They had their dinner together without any conversation between them. Sneha went to bed. She closed her eyes, but her mind was flying into the imaginary world. On the way to the airport, she watched the film, Ohm Shanthi Oshaana. She was touched by the love of the protagonist. She dreamt about her lover.
On the next day, Rani poured out her love toward Sneha. Sneha was excited by the love of her mother. When Sneha returned from school, her mother seemed to be harsher. Sneha's heart broke into pieces. Rani forced her to sleep. Sneha was given no other choice but to obey her mother. She went to bed but her eyes observed the incidents going around her.
Unexpectedly, there was a phone call. Sneha knew it was her father. Rani has been talking to her husband nearly for one hour. Sneha yearned to talk with her father.
Ravi asked Rani,
"Where is Sneha?".
"Sneha has gone to sleep".
"Why? Whether she is ill? Wake up her?"
"I told her not to sleep, but did it willingly?".
"Ohhhh!!! Then she is avoiding me."
"Yes, She is very arrogant and naughty these days. I can't control that stupid girl."
Tears rolled down Sneha's eyes. She lost her control. Sneha lamented, "Why I was not loved by my parents? Why I can't be happy like others? Is my birth a curse? Is there anyone to wipe my tears". The pillows alone observed her tears.
Sneha shared her feelings with her friend, Abi.
Abi consoled her. Her mother forced her to wake up at 5 O'clock. Sneha woke up weeping. Rani allowed her to do household duties. Sneha was beaten black and blue. Sneha got depressed. She decided to commit suicide. Abi told her only the coward could commit suicide. Abi should her some motivational quotes to overcome suicide.
"The bravest thing I ever did was continuing my life when I want to die" by Juliette Lewis.
"You can either be crushed by a horrific event and lose your sanity, your family, and your life. Or, you can take this pain that was thrust upon you, to propel into greatness. You can make it through this. I know it's hard" by Marie White.
"Suicide is not an answer, it's destruction" by AlGreen.
"Suicide doesn't solve your problems. It only makes them infinitely, un-countably worse" by Sinead O' Connor.
"Sometimes even to live is an act of courage" by Senecca.
These quotes made up for her to withdraw from suicide. Meanwhile, she completed her school education. She dreamt that she would escape from the house, by choosing the College away from the house. But she was allowed to study in the college which was 10 Km far from her house.
She was forced to choose English literature.
She read the novel, Jane Eyre, by Charlotte Bronte. Sneha's heart was overwhelmed with joy when reading the love exchange between Jane and her beloved, Rochester.
The words of Jane echoed in her ears,
“I am strangely glad to get back again to you: and wherever you are is my home—my only home.” and“All my heart is yours, sir: it belongs to you; and with you it would remain, were fate to exile the rest of me from your presence forever.”
Then she read, again and again, the quotes of
Mr Rochester, "I have for the first time found what I can truly love—I have found you. You are my sympathy—my better self—my good angel. I am bound to you with a strong attachment. I think you good, gifted, lovely: a fervent, a solemn passion is conceived in my heart; it leans to you, draws you to my centre and spring of life, wraps my existence about you, and, kindling in pure, powerful flame, fuses you and me in one."
Sneha memorized the words of Rochester, "I ask you to pass through life at my side—to be my second self, and best earthly companion."
Sneha hoped that she will meet her Rochester soon.
