Beauty
Beauty
As John Keats said, A thing of beauty is a joy forever". It's absolutely true. Beauty does not reveal everything. Beauty resides in our hearts. A person with a good heart might have an ugly face. He may not be loved by all. But those who know him, love him not by his looks, but by his character traits. I will narrate the importance of beauty by telling a tale. It's highly autobiographical. I attended a seminar last week. It was about Dostoevsky and his works. The orator was fully involved in his oration. People were listening to him. But when questions were asked, nobody responded. Amidst the crowd, there stood a man in shabby clothes and bad looks. People gave an awkward look at him. But he was very intelligent. He had a good house, a caring family, and many well-wishers by his side. He was a person who listened to the lectures given by experts. He was a voracious reader. But suddenly his life turned topsy-turvy. He lost everything. But his brain was working still. He gave prompt answers to all the queries which the orator asked the crowd. There was a great round of applause from the crowd.
Moral: Beauty resides in a person's heart, not in his body.
