An Uglier Man

Abraham Lincoln had a good sense of humor. Once he was much surprised when a queer fellow drew a revolver and thrust it on his face. By the behavior of the man, it was clear that he was serious. 

Lincoln inquired about the matter for which the man was behaving like that. The man replied that he had taken an oath a few years ago that whenever he would come across an uglier man than himself, he would shoot him on the spot! 

Lincoln seemed to relax a bit. Then he said to the man with the revolver, to shoot him as he was definitely uglier than the man and he did not want to live!
