An Inspiration

Dear diary,

Do you think it is easy to get inspired and motivated?

I used to struggle with this some time ago. I had huge goals but did not have a clue about how to go about achieving anything. Due to my past bitter experiences, I had almost given up on myself.

That was the time when I was introduced to my dear friend whom I affectionately call Banjara now. I would say he is God sent. He is the most intelligent and talented, yet down to earth person, I have met. It was my good fortune that we met through some common friends. As time passed by, we started talking regularly and we came to realize how much we had in common.

I had a huge inferiority complex. Banjara slowly made me realize my worth and made me love myself. Today I am happy to be on my own. I feel complete and satisfied. He also helped me evolve as a person and also discover the spiritual path which I was always inclined towards but kept avoiding as I was not sure of myself.

Thanks to my dear friend and guide who taught me to break down my goals into measurable chunks and then go about achieving it. He always says just push yourself for the first few days, he says "see you are almost there" when I am ready to give up... I feel so good when I reach the small goal, especially when he appreciates me I feel like the God above is with me.

I am so grateful for such a nice influence on my life.
