Always An Orphan

At the earlier stage of life, I understood that I was an orphaned girl. I never knew who my parents were. Sister Marie was my everything, she was the head of our 'Love for Jesus' orphanage. From my childhood days, she used to tell me that one day my life will be full of happiness and I believed her. But as I turned 24, Sister Maria passed away. I again became an orphan. Slowly I was deteriorating but still, I had a belief in what sister Maria once told me 'one day your life will be full of happiness'.

One day Sister Samantha called me in her office, where I met Melvin and his family. Sister Samantha told me that Melvin wanted to marry me. Melvin told me that he saw me during an event in church that was conducted by his company and was moved by my generosity. His parents were against his decision for marrying an orphan girl but later they agreed. Eventually we got married, it was the best two years of my life. We were madly in love with each other and after two years we were expecting our first child. I was living the life of my dreams. But life always knocks me down whenever it sees the happiness on my face.

It was my sixth month of pregnancy, Melvin was in night shift. At 5 AM my phone rang and everything was over for me. The call was from his office admin team, Melvin car met with an accident and he died while he was being taken to hospital due to fatal brain injury. after one month I had a miscarriage and Melvin parents abandoned me blaming me for bringing bad omen to their family. Again I became an Orphan!
