Almanac Of Prehuman Settlements On Earth

The first few pages of book one in the chronicles is an almanac with a rather well-drawn map and description of different beings that inhabit the lands. It is interesting to note that there are no humans, as we know them today, mentioned. It is mentioned that this first tome was written from interviewing the Ancient Ones primarily, but there were also other sources mentioned. I hope to give you an overview of these different civilizations and some of their cultural beliefs.

Let’s begin with the location of the Algonquin continent and how long ago we are talking about. All of the maps I have studied in each of the almanacs included in the chronicles point to North America. Also, judging by the name of the continent and some of the names of the people from history also point to this area. Although the chronicles themselves are written in ancient Greek, I stand firm on my assumption, especially since I found them in the States. Well enough of the jabber about this, let’s get down to the very interesting parts.

We should start where the almanac does, with the Dragon Men. It appears that these were the original habitants of earth, or as they called it Sau. Where they came from is not really clear, it is only stated that they ruled all that relied on the sun on. So, as a rough translation, they seemed to be ruled, for millions of years, by a single royal family. It was a reptilian utopia until the last millennium of their rule. This is when the Dragon Men began to dabble in the black arts. They began summoning demons and bread with them, creating subspecies of Dragon Men. It seems that from the start the Dragon Men were master builders. They built massive structures that stood through the ages, so great were these buildings that later human civilizations would build their cities on the foundations of them. They were masters of everything they did.

They even learned the secrets to weather control, imagine the ability to change the aspects of the world’s environment to better fit you. Once they did that,

it never rained, the moisture was in the air, and the humidity was outrageous. What would stifle a mammal was perfect for the cold-blooded Dragon Men. They

ruled over every aspect of the planet, without a challenger. They became full of hubris, which is when they began to dabble in the black arts. It began by resurrecting the dead, to fill the ranks of their army. Why the rulers of everything needed an army is not really explained, but what is explained is that it freed up the

living to research more into sorcery. This field quickly advanced to the point of not only being able to raise and control the dead but to summoning creatures from other realms, demons if you will. These were instantly enslaved and put to work in the slave mines. They needed to mine gemstones for other rituals. They

used the gems to fashion weapons of great power, again, not sure why they needed them. They also began to sacrifice some of these creatures to some sort of god, the descriptions of this god are very confusing. The human witnesses, centuries later, describe it like a squat, toad-like beast with hundreds of teeth. The only description from a captured Dragon Man calls it a mechanic-a for the extraction of life force. At least that’s what it translates to.

It was during this time that the Ancient Ones appeared. They were summoned by the sorcerers at the summit of the largest mountain on the planet. The Dragon Men immediately realized that they brought something into their world that they could not control. They tried to close the portal and kill the few that were already through. They failed on both accounts. Thousands made it through before they could close the portal, from that point on a constant war was waged. Neither side is strong enough to conquer the other, small victories were claimed by each side. For instance, during a raid, the Ancient Ones were able to free a slave race, small human like creatures, which crippled their production of gem weapons. Then the Dragon Men sent storms to their territory that destroyed a lot of their food stores. The Ancient Ones were giants, their height ranged from seven to nine feet, they were very muscular. They too had magic, they were healers and didn’t need to speak to communicate and they could travel to parallel planes and back. This last ability was the most useful; they could simply vanish if a large number of the enemy came to attack them. They also used it to pop up at the slave mines to free prisoners. These freed souls were grateful at first and lived with the ancient ones, as time passed most of them moved away to be with their own kind in remote regions of the planet. Our history knows of these creatures as wild men, phase beasts, yeti, Sasquatch, or bigfoot. They rested the highlands in present-day China away from the Dragon Men. After which they too began to try and change the weather, thinking that it would weaken and slow the Dragon Men. It did, but before they could complete the task the Dragon Men struck and disrupted it. The Dragon Men had to retreat from the poles to the more temperate and tropical areas. The Ancient Ones took those areas over and that is where they stayed until the arrival of man. 

Some of the beings that the Ancient Ones freed went on and founded new civilizations in other parts of the world. At this point, their involvement was minimal and will only be explained here as to their relevance to future events. We will discuss the cross bread Dragon Men and demons as they appear in the chronicles as there are too many to list here.

So let us first discuss the Crogs, one of the first species to be summoned by the Dragon Men. They looked much like a cross between a gorilla and a human. This is the best translation I can give you. Imagine if you will the body and strength of an ape, standing at six feet tall at the shoulders, but the skin of a human, the body mostly hairless. The Crogs was a very primitive race, having only developed stone tools in their realm very recently. They were the brute force behind the slave mines, being able to crush rock with their bare hands. When they were set free they hid in the caves of modern Europe.

The Ananaki were human-like in every aspect except their wings. They were powerless against the Dragon Men due to collars placed around their necks. Once those collars were broken they were powerful allies to the Ancient Ones. During this time they were forced into a treaty with the Dragon Men due to the later kidnapping of Ehdu, their leader and teacher of all things, in an epic battle that saw all but a handful of them wiped from the face of the earth. They settled in the Andes of South America.

Pygmy is derived from the name of this shapeshifting race. In their natural form, they closely resemble pigs that stand on their hind legs at a height of no greater than two feet. As mentioned they have the ability to change their shape in order to hide from their enemies, of which there were many. This was so because they claimed to be the original species created and that all others stemmed from them. Their arrogance was not appreciated by the others, like them better than you brother that is not better than you.

There is one other race that is worth mentioning here that has not yet come to be, that would greatly impact the future of the planet. The

Nephilem, the creators of all, beings of pure energy, true immortals. In the near future, the desperate Dragon Men would summon them to enslave them and

reclaim their world, and turn the tide in the war.

Other species would come and go and others will live on in an unrecognized state. Hold on, this is gonna get exciting.
