Accident

The nightmarish sight Naveen saw in front of his eyes today is felonious. He was so jovial when he came back home from school as he had won the Inter House Debate Competition. 12 year old Naveen got ready for his tuition and sat in the front seat of the car.

He and his dad hadn't even covered a few feet when this horrendous accident took place.

A motorcycle and a truck banged right before their very eyes and before anyone could figure out what had happened, the truck was coming towards Naveen's car. Thank god! That both the drivers applied the brakes at the right moment.

The whole world feel silent. Or it seemed so for Naveen was stupefied. He entered into his semi - consciousness mind until his dad asked if he was OK. How could he be OK? He saw a dead man in a pool of fresh blood flowing like red water!

Naveen and his dad blamed the motorcycle and the truck driver through the whole drive but not once did they speak about how close they were from escaping their own death.

Maybe it was for the best.

Ball pen in his hand, Maths textbook on the table, Naveen sat alone in his tuition room and made up his mind that he will do something BIG that the world will remember him even if he dies.
