A Rubik's Champ

Young Luke was outside with his Nintendo, playing a video game when his mother came out. She told that it was his birthday tomorrow and asked if he was excited. Luke replied with a solid maybe, depends on what toy you give me.

On the day of the birthday, Luke got so many video games to play with, but also one other present. That was a 3 by 3 Rubik's cube. Luke didn't pay any attention for a long time. One day when Luke was playing on his Xbox, his mom asked him did he do his chores, he did not reply. This made his mom mad and she confiscated all of his games except the Rubik's cube.

Luke was so bored that one day, he tried to solve the cube. After hours of practice, his mom came back with the games. She said she was sorry and he could play again, but Luke said no. From then on, he never played video games. He got so good at the 3 by 3 Rubik's cube that he won competitions. Luke then realized that he loved the cube. He never let go of his cube. Never for his whole life.
