A Magical Dream

Once upon a time, in a kingdom far away, there lived a beautiful princess named Sofia. One day she was playing with her best friend Cora. Then, while playing, Cora suddenly stopped and signaled Sofia to look behind. When Sofia looked where Cora was signalling she was amazed at the sight. Behind her had appeared a beautiful door which she had never seen in the castle before. They both were silent for some time, when Cora broke the silence, “How did the that door came over there?”, “I just don’t know. I have never seen that door in the castle before”, Said Sofia looking very surprised.

After discussing a lot on how the door appeared, they both had only one thing in mind, to look at other side of the door!!!!!

Then they both got up, looked at each other and opened the door together. At the other side of the door, they saw a room with two lockets on stand. The lockets were stunning and very beautiful, brightening the whole room.

Sofia went in first, picked up the locket and wore it and Cora immediately joined her and wore it.

Suddenly a tunnel appeared, and the both went in one by one without fear. They boldly crossed the tunnel and what they saw on the other side was marvellous. They saw a lake of melted chocolate, beautiful and colourful flowers and at a far end a silver gate was shining in the sunlight.

They were very hungry and could not resist the sight of melted chocolate, just before the river they saw two golden mugs, they picked it up and filled with chocolate and drank it.

They took a look at the flowers, Sofia touched one flower and looked at Cora surprised!! “Taste one” She said.

“What”!! Cora Shouted, “Are you Crazy”?

“No, I am not”. Sofia reproached and said irritated, “Try One”.

Cora plucked one petal from beautiful looking yellow flower and tentatively brought it near her lips before testing it and finally licked it.

“It’s fantastic”, She said.

“It’s buttery and kind of how the butter scotch ice cream taste”, She told Sofia.

Then they tried different flower petals of all looks and colours, each one had different flavour. While unknowingly they were walking towards the big silver gate. They soon reached the gate and were surprised to know that gate opened for them.

On the other side of the wall, they saw a well, there was no water in the well, but a face carved, the moment the spotted the carved face. It Spoke!!

“I am wishing well and you both can ask for three wishes and I will fulfil them”. Said the face.

They both screamed in excitement, they stepped back and started animatedly discussing the wishes and soon came on the conclusion on the wishes they were going to ask but spotted another shining golden gate and decided to try that first.

As soon as they crossed the golden gate they spotted a river filled with shining and glittering water, as they walked near to the water holding each other hands, they saw the water gushing and moving. Suddenly something appeared which looked like a fish from distance and it came near they could make it that it was a mermaid.

Mermaid waived to them and signalled them to come near, they both walked nearer very slowly and both were excited.

And the some more mermaid appeared behind her, all were looking like a scene of fairy-tale stories they heard earlier,

Mermaid which looked like a sea princess and appeared earlier, called both of them.

“My Name is Maria and these are my best friends, Phylla, Collete and Blossom” She pointed to other mermaids.

“Now, let me tell you one of the thing you both amulet can do” She said.

“You just have to dip your foot in water, touch your amulet and say I wish to be mermaid”. She continued.

First both Cora and Sofia were surprised but then after a moment of silence the followed the instruction Mermaid Maria gave them and said the same thing. Something very magical followed and their legs became mermaid like fins.

Blossom quickly asked them to follow her and went inside the water. They all swam together, played while the group of mermaids were showing them beautiful scenes under water like colourful corals and different beautiful fish.

Suddenly a Castle appeared and all of them stooped near the gate. The gate was made of purple diamond like glittering thing.

“This is our pink pearl castle”. Said Collete.

AND !!! suddenly all the things vanished!! Some one was waking up Sofia and Cora. Sofia opened her eyes and realized it was just a dream.

Last night was sleepover night for them, they looked at each other and smile. “ I had a wonderful dream and we both were with Mermaids.” Said Sofia.

“Me too”. Said Cora. We both had beautiful lockets and we saw a magical lake which turned us into Mermaids”. She said excitedly.

Then they both hared there dream and it was exactly the same. While having breakfast they hoped to continue the dream next night. They both decided to seek permission for a sleepover to continue for next night.
