A dog in a dark night

I was walking to my home for my friend's birthday party the, air was really fresh while I was coming home I heard a dog barking at me from the back . 

When I looked at the dog it was a white furry dog and it was really cute, after looking at the dog I forgot everything and started to play with the dog . 

While I was playing with the dog I just forgot the time. 

The dog was so friendly and then I looked at my watch and it's been a couple hours while I was playing with the dog. 

Then my mumma called me and said; where are you why are you not coming home it's so late she was worried. I said I'm on the way to home mumma just 30 minutes more she said Ok.and cut the call.

The dog started to bark looking at my back. I was confused and looked at my back and saw nothing but the street lights only but when I turned to play with the dog, the dog was not there and I saw nothing. 

Than I ran to my home very fast. 

When I reached home I told my mom the whole story she said, 'it was nothing honey it was just a street dog don't worry'. I said; ok let me go and sleep good night. 

While I was sleeping I saw the same dog in my dream the I woke up and started thinking about the dog it was really confusing to me where the dog was gone with in a few seconds I looked everywhere but the dog was not there. 

It became a mystery for me that where the dog was gone? I wish I could see the dog again.
