The shotgun fell down on the couch and had small pieces of his head on it. The camera was still on. The livestream was watched by around 800 people. The video went viral in an hour. The police reached his house and broke into it and had one look at the mess. They then called the cleaning team and cleared up the mess. The man who shot himself was identified as Gleb Koralev. The clip now was uploaded on all major social media sites. YouTube took the video down after 16 hours. The rest did it just afterwards.

The clip became an urban legend with the name of 1444. The disturbing video( for some) was deleted from major sites, but the clip could still be found. They called it the Darkweb. You couldn’t just click on a site and go there. The site could be entered with a very specific server and after entering it the dark side of the internet was available. The chances of getting hacked was high, personal details were being sold, disturbing images and sites could be found everywhere.

Zack, sitting on his laptop was reading about the dark net in an article. He never thought he would surf it. The weird kid in the back of the class seemed to know a lot about it. Zack asked him if he could help him get the server number. The weird kid looked him in the eye and gave him a chit. Zack went home and read it. He was now sitting on the chair looking at his laptop screen. The 14 year old typed the numbers 1444. The screen led him to a website which opened to a video. He clicked the play button. The man was sitting on a couch with a painting behind him. He said something in Russian. He held a shotgun to his head. He screamed something and pressed the trigger. Pieces of his brain flew away. His body slowly slouched away and the shotgun fell down. There was not a lot of blood but his skull could be seen, what was left of it anyways. Zack closed the laptop. He was so disturbed that he went to the washroom and washed his face. The images went through his head again and again. He started to cry. He did not realise what he had seen but that was not all, he did not log out of the dark web.

Zack went to the school the next day and asked the weird kid if he had seen the clip? The kid replied” I watched the livestream”. Zack asked him if he found it disturbing. The weird kid replied that he knew that Zack had watched something so disturbing for the first time but he did not find it disturbing as he had seen worse. He then asked him if he had logged out of the darknet. Zack said he didn’t .

Zack went out of the class with his partner with their guns in their hands and shot whoever they could see. The darknet forced them to. Zack didn’t log out. He was tracked down by a Russia based hacker group. They threatened to kill him. He said he didn’t believe them and closed his computer. Three days later a man kidnapped him and put him in a van on his way to home from school. He asked him about he got to know about the darknet. He told him everything. The man threatened to kill his family and also his friends if they didn’t what he asked them to do. They were given guns and told to kill as many as people they could. They choose their school.

Zack was left with one bullet. He could not live with what he had done. He aimed the barrel at his head and screamed. The last bullet went through his head. He fell to the ground lifeless. His friend was shot by the police. The clip 1444 had a myth that whoever watches it is cursed. Maybe it was true for them.
