Let it all out

That I've held back in

All this while,

I want to write again,

I want to write! 

My heart is full of

Things unsaid,

My mind is full of 

Things undone, 

And I'm lost, 

Lost as I may never come

So I want to write!

I want my words 

To reach your soul,

I want my words 

To heal my wounds,

I want my words

To leave a scar,

And I want them 

To shine like a star!

In this world, 

That's full of misunderstandings,

I want my words to understand me,

I want myself to understand me

Is it that hard to know yourself?

Yes, I guess, we live in a world

Where everyone is an illusion 

And everything is a delusion,

I want to know myself,

I want to find myself

Who is lost somewhere 

Between thoughts and emotions,

I want that courage to pick up the 

Pen and write, back 

I WANT TO WRITE!

I want to write for myself,

I want to write to know myself,

To find my true self,

To find the writer in me 

Who wrote every minute,

And now couldn't write

Anything for months,

Couldn't write anything at all,

On the paper where 

No space was left empty 

Was now completely blank,

On the paper where words 

Used to flow like a river 

Didn't even make a puddle 

As if they did a hunger strike

Against me

That writer in me

Used to build her castle of words,

High up in her sky of joy and hope

She beautified them with emotions

And every time she wrote something,

A part of her lived on in her piece of work 

I want to get her back!

I'm in a search,

To who I was,

Who I am and

Who I will be

I'm like a wanderer 

Whose destination is a mystery,

It's an adventure unknown,

With nothing mentioned in history.

Let's see what awaits me,

Let's face what scares me

And let's just begin,

Let's start this journey

And see where it leaves me 

In the end

And lastly to all the writers 

Out there,

It's ok to not be able to write sometimes,

It's ok to not be ok,

You are special,

You are your own inspiration and you are your own star,

Not everyone can pick up that pen and bravely live on, 

In the game of words

Like you do 

You shine! 

We shine!

And so I want to write!

And I will write!
