Hues Of The Heart
Hues Of The Heart
It's memories,
That were made,
And as a remedy that it served,
It deserved something more
As the violet sky bled ink,
The paper bore its wounds,
Of all that was lost,
And all that remained
As the red water of the river
Turned black,
Something came back,
Drenched in hate
For the letters that burnt
In the green fire,
And the Polaroids that joined in,
Envy was hired
It was all black and white
Now it's just grey,
For the shades of the monotone,
And change that is prayed
For the feelings that were
Captured in the golden cage,
And the selves that were
Tied with a silver rope,
It all ended with a hope
For when they were freed,
The sky cried in greed,
The ocean screamed in pain,
And with water, they tried
To erase the irreversible stain,
Of love, pain, hurt and joy
But it's memories,
That were made,
And as a remedy that is served,
It deserved something more.
