Which One Do I Choose?

When I was small,

I was asked many times,

Which is your favourite colour, my dear?

And I would in my unworldly innocence,

Would point out at various colours,

At various points in life.

As I grew up,

I realized,

"Can we live without even one?"

Red is the colour of love,

Yellow is the colour of Sunshine,

Green is the colour of progress,

And Blue for me is the colour of the cool rain,

Indigo is the colour that washes the dirt,

While Violet gives a smile to my face,

And Orange sends my thirst away.

But Can we really live without,

The Greys, the Blacks, the Whites,

The Browns and many such ones??

Grey tells us nothing is good or bad

Black and White tell us the importance,

Of a colourful life,

Brown tells us the importance of Spring,

Which comes after Autumn.

So which one should I,

Chose as a favourite,

For I can't live in a world,

With just one,
