The atrocious you came to scar our esteemed nation,

But the vision of fortification was even before our first breath,

When you came to wreck us, we fought for us, we fought for our liberation!

Gave up our lives, and laid on the paths of death!

You formed the British East India Company and set the eyes on our affluence,

But we weren’t frail and we didn’t have shaky legs and hands,

When you came to wreck us, we weren’t agitated by your presence!

And we're not the puppets to dance on your commands!

You thought we were your thralls, and you could rule us forever,

Will chain us with shackles, because from our brawn you were afraid,

When you came to wreck us, you took all our nation’s splendour!

But splendour is not the money, it is our love towards our country from which its grace is made!

When you surrounded Jhansi Fort with your fierce troop,

Rani Lakshmi Bai didn’t give up and fought with extreme courage with you all,

When you came to wreck us, she didn’t in front of you stoop!

She stood as a symbol of bravery and determination in the hearts of all!

Bhagat Singh went against his religion, cut his hair and took Western attire,

Killing John Saunders and Channan Singh is not only the definition of his bravery,

When you came to wreck us, he bombarded your assembly and shrieked Inquilab Zindabad much louder!

To show Indian soil’s courage, he surreptitiously escaped from Lahore and kept his real identity a mystery!

The first Indian soldier who opposed the British by the cartridge coated with the skin of pigs and cows,
