We only flung

To create a muddle

By jumping into the puddle

Climbed the trees

Only to be stung by bees

Swung cricket ball and bat

Like a spoiled little brat

Read the entire textbook

Only for Question paper arrived to a blank look

On the last day of exam

It was at last water over the dam

When we were young
