When His Life Was At The Nadir
When His Life Was At The Nadir
An air of melancholy surrounded him..
It was evident from his doldrum and grim
He left his kith and kin to chase his dream
But his peers butchered his self-esteem
Bewildered and aghast, he winced in pain
Feeling shattered he looked down in disdain
Have humans become so cruel for sadistic elation
When will the reign of egotism reach culmination
He fumed at the whimsical arbitrariness of autocracy
He was tired of fighting against hypocrisy
He wanted to quit and end it all
But his tenacity and perseverance saved him from this fall
He mustered the courage to be the David of Goliath's story
For he believed the predicament to be hunky-dory
He wrung every inch of his soul to harness positivism
In the end, he rediscovered the power of his raison d'etre and individualism.
And now, he was again calm, composed, and unstirred by the strife
Ready to take on anyone meddling with his life
He believed in his virtuosity, panache, and elan
And trusted life's virtue that nepotism is worthless for cynics in heaven
