What makes me happy is, 

what not makes me sad. 

The feel of being in someone's thoughts 

makes me happy. 

The power of a lit lamp, 

makes me happy. 

Soothing voices of my dear one's, 

makes me happy. 

Humming in solitude, 

makes me happy. 

The fusion of my footsteps 

to the rhythm of music, makes me happy 

Even the "coohoo" of the cuckoo bird 

makes me happy. 

The smile on my buddy's face 

makes me happy. 

Being a reason to wipe away 

someone's tears makes me happy. 

Self realization, makes me happy. 

The reasons are many, causes too, 

which makes me happy. 

It may be an irony, happiness is as to, 

Beauty in the eyes of the beholder.
