Warrior Soul
Warrior Soul
When is this war going to end?
Patience is the key they said,
I can't hold anymore
The turmoils inside me rise
like an angry fire,
These turn into ashes
With every drop of my tear;
I can't bear anymore
this union sound of fire and water
It makes me say
Go away!
Let me sleep....
Don't give me sunburns
In this moonlit cold night;
A ghostly voice whispers
"You are a warrior
And warriors don't give up"
I have never given up!
Nor will I..
I am standing strong
With my katana
Come what may
I'll kill whatever blocks my way,
I am tired not of killing
But this war,
It has become a way of living
I am stuck inside
Like an ant in a cookie jar
Who never gives up,
Who keeps climbing and slipping hundred of times
And tries hard
With the same zeal all over again;
Patience, patience, patience they said
Till when? I asked.
Slowly the room turns snow white
And the dwarfs of happiness, peace, and joy surround me
We have a message for you they said
"You are not alone on this path
Hold my hand,
I'll be your strength, I'll be your warmth"
The war ends with the curves on my lips widened
As I read the letter,
An angel appears
Shredding snow flakes on my sunburns
She comforts me with her embrace
And the warrior in me sleeps like a baby
With no more questions in his heart,
Dwarfs of happiness, peace, and joy suddenly grow bigger
With each breath, I take wrapped in her arms....
