War Against The Tongue
War Against The Tongue
Thwarting compassion for blood and flesh
In their suffering you feast
Sprinkling spices and seasoning
Dismembered body parts wetting your tongue.
Your senses go orgasmic making
While existing misery become non-existent
For some, eyes open doors
For some, there are no eyes
Three inch and ten thousand taste buds-
Governing their brains and souls
Go regard for life for they don't live
Referencing source of ignorance for rationality-
Be science or religion
Be society or personal preference
How deep have you buried your compassion ?
How deep have you buried your love for all ?
If cages, knives and blood visions grandeur
If rape, torture and separation visions normalcy
If suffering, violence and cruelty visions a lifestyle
What you do you see when you stand in front of a mirror ?
I will call you a monster!
But I will not turn my face away from you
I will not be who you are
I am willing to be called the monster for questioning you
But I will not stop screaming for the rights all earthlings deserve.
I will love you as I love all earthlings
I will return to earth as wounded I can be
But I will love you and
Hope my love inspires you expand your circle of compassion to all life
Encompassing beauty of one - beauty of all
Let peace prevail
