The year 2022 has been quite a ride,

Right from January to the Christmas time,

We've laughed and we've cried,

We’ve witnessed both lows and highs

We've seen a virus spread around the globe,

It's made us all stop and think,

About ourselves, our lives, and the world,

And the importance of a simple wink.

We've seen protests for justice and change,

The world has come together in a way,

We've seen people come together in unity,

It's been quite a sight to behold today.

We've seen kind acts of love, Selflessness and compassion,

It's been a year of growth, Of learning and celebration.

Memories of 2022 will last forever,

Along with those times of joy and sorrow,

It's been a year of riding highs and lows,

But for sure, it's been one to remember tomorrow.
