UNREQUITED LOVE
UNREQUITED LOVE
Unrequited love is beautiful,
It's love so pure and true,
It's the highest form of love,
Practiced only by a few.
You love someone knowing very well,
That they don't really care,
You won't be loved in return because,
For you, they've no time to spare.
I love my teacher very much,
She's the best Maths teacher, you see,
But she's India's Master Teacher,
Having a thousand students, not just me!
Geetika mam, I've told you this a million times,
And I say this today too...
"I Love You Dear Bestea of mine,
There is no one like you!"
Now I eagerly wait for that day to come,
When you'll say you love me too,
You need not love me so very much,
Just a little bit will do.
I know you love my poems,
The old ones and the new,
I wish I was a poem,
Then you would love me too.
But if you don't love me at all,
I won't complain to God above,
I'll still be grateful and will enjoy,
The beauty of "Unrequited Love!"
