Underneath The Stars
Underneath The Stars
Underneath the stars, in this vast world,
With gleaming fish, red and azure, inside the ribbon of rivers,
From the grass; green and velvet, the mountains dark and blue and far, with glaciers numbing cold, and weather that’ll send down shivers,
O, the land where the two sisters, sky and sea, meet together,
The horizon fondling them in both its arms, the feeling seeming like forever,
Blown away into a corner, the spiderwebs and stardust,
Decorating each other, with different, vibrant colours, flexible and just,
And as the wind ties her bun, calming the tailorbirds,
Her face would look sweeter than honey, with an expression too pretty for words,
The trees swayed and danced, with their leaves curly and furled,
And away went this dream, as it twirled and twirled.
