Un-Learn Rouge
Un-Learn Rouge
Her crimson-shaded cheeks
Were made of more than just pink,
Her dusky blush subverted sea-storms and black ink.
Her flaming lips and her eyes which sprinkled stardust,
Could fight the growing rage of agony and rust.
I write today not on her beauty or splendor,
But do awed by her claws mistaken tender.
Growing up a woman, brave-blooded and flamed,
I write today to her soul untamed.
