TWINS
TWINS
When in the womb, we cuddled,
we huddled, in our little pool, so cool.
listening to Mamma's sweet lullabies, was all that we understood.
When out in the world,
life was more than twirl,
born as twin brothers.
Always together, we learned many lessons.
When one was sick, the other would also feel,
We shared our edibles,
We shared our wardrobes.
Sometimes there would be confusion.
Being identical twins, Mom would feed one twice, leaving other crying.
Wondering, he is crying , why?
When in school, for my brother's mischief,
I would be punished,
often he too met the same fate.
In college, we could fool our friends,,
not to mention our girlfriends.
In youth, life was beautiful, and cool.
Born as twins, had no regrets, never wished to be separated,
for we loved each other and lived for each other.
After all, we were identical twins. Born from one zygote.
