Traffic Light Scene

Traffic Light Scene

As the lights incessantly turn Red, Yellow and Green.

In the heavy traffic, an old lady is seen.

Crooked legs and a stick in her hand.

A broad smile and giving a sigh of bliss as she stand.

She was neither a beggar nor a saint.

In the harsh weather she was about to faint.

Standing by our car, she offered us a pen.

Please buy it sir," it is one for ten".

Offering pens from her ragged bag to many.

She was earning an honest penny.

Disability or age is just an excuse.

You want to beg or earn an honest living, now you have to choose.
