Tragedy

Tomorrow

The way wind is blowing tonight,

Unleashing the harsh reality of life.

For perfect tomorrow we all are involved in a fight,

Colouring our hands red with the knife.

Destroying today for tomorrow which never exists,

From kids to elderly beings all are still finding the tomorrow we saw in our dreams.

Giving each other fake hopes we all are stuck amidst,

Confusions, anxiety, depression surround us at the extreme.

Walking past the windows of a school,

I saw a 5-year-old child sitting in a classroom full.

Suppressing the innocence anxiety is what reflected in his face,

In the age of living freely, I see him tensed about getting scolded for his grades.

Then I walk past a coding institute,

I was shocked it was full of young teens, no grown-up job seeker in blues.

At the age of playing on the ground, they are stuck in the front of the screen,

Over the open skies, they are forced to prefer to be here for better tomorrow unseen.

A few steps later I found the competitive exam preparation center,

In the name of competition, they are printing money like the Bureau Of Printing center.

I see the faces of the youth generation,

So happily depressed singing the melancholy together.

After all these, I thought to visit the middle-agers,

They are the ones who are somewhat settled in life here.

But after meeting them I realized they are the most messed up,

Waging every day between reality and the dream tomorrow on which they never woke up.

Running away from all of them thought to skip life straight to the end,

I sat beside an old man on a park bench,

Suddenly he broke into tears and I asked him what was the reason,

He said "You reminded me of my son. He lives in US hope after 6 years tomorrow he will come."
