To Raise A Voice

To Raise A Voice

Every time someone raises a voice,

There is always someone ready to silence them,

Little do they know,

That they could feeble them only for some time,

But not always as their stand can grow;

With each passing moment,

The evil may seem like winning,

But the goodness should not lose hope,

As miracles are bound to happen,

And we must have the patience to know, what the future holds.

Our voice is the strongest weapon, we possess,

And so we must also know, how it's used.

To fight evil and save the world,

We must soar high and let our voice echo;

Sometimes our voice may be hoarse,

Or sometimes it may be husky,

But we are all aware,

The evil is not always dark and dusky,

As it possesses its own fading light,

To flatter the budding souls,

Into entering its hollow hole.

So let us not lose our hope,

And stand together and cope,

To fight and win against evil

As a lone voice could be feeble

But not the certainty of an entire troop.

"One could suppress a lone voice but could never stop its echoes from soaring high and reaching heavenwards sky"
