The Lone Drop...

It's hard to convey,

Those unsaid words behind a smile,

The pain causing those unwept tears,

And the way my heart breaks,

Everytime I visualize those vintage moments...

Sometimes I am at despair,

Wanting to jilt away all my fears,

The inner strength, it takes to relinquish,

On the teachings to distinguish, 

Between what's false and not so true,

To know that I have, not even you...

I've always been the lone drop,

Wanting to merge in the ocean waves,

But the clouds, seemed to have liked me more,

As the sun kept bringing me closer to it, throughout my days.

The moment I used to feel that I could be someone's beloved,

I was thrown out of the clouds, into the gutter...

Hitting the rocks and the pebbles,

I used to reach the same spot, where it had all started,

Every time a new cycle began,

I used to ponder,

When will I find someone to bond stronger? 

And maybe, one day I did find him...
