War And Peace

I dream of the unknown yet well known land,

Where paths are covered by the leaves of dear plants,

Where the chicks do not cower under their mother's feather,

Or run away, seeing men decked in leather, 

Jackets and Shoes- ready for war,

Not mourning for the people going far...

The wails of broken mothers reach my ears,

Turning my eyes, misty with tears,

It's the humanity and love facing defeat,

When I visualize the blood of my dear, sweeping from under my feet,

The shivers of chill run down my spine,

To know that there's no escape that I could align...

To bring back joy and peace is what I want,

Saving children from the gory, that would haunt
