The Wave Series: Air

The welcoming touch of cool breeze

On my face,

Wild, free and salty;

Blowing sand in my hair.

Working into a therapeutic rhythm

On my body, my soul.

I lie down on wet stands,

Feeling the thump of my heart.

I slowly slip into a trance,

Enveloped in a divine calm.

I am just a breath,

Nothing more, nothing less;

I wake up from my hypnotic haze,

My breath leaving no trace;

Life is but a wisp of air.
