The Wave Series: Ripples
The Wave Series: Ripples
The sky was downcast,
Grey clouds looming large,
Ready to burst at the seams
And spill out;
All sorts of secrets,
Sounds and suffering.
I was stranded on the shore,
As I looked up to the heavens;
The waters come down in haste,
To wash my face,
And escort the tears streaming down,
To meet the sea.
I looked at the rough sea,
Who by now was furious,
By the way she was tickled,
She shipped out a few waves and ripples;
To offload her gripe on me.
