Mother,

U love me from the time, I was within U…

I kicked U and U were in pain,

But, I was alive in U…

I would be a boon or bane,

U never had any clue…

U were just in fain,

Coz the days were very few…

And that’s why I tell…

I cried coz it was too bright,

And saw different hues…

I was filled with fright,

To enter the world so new…

U held my hand tight,

And I got a better view…

I took my first step,

Just to hold on to you…

U were full of pep,

“Maa” was my first word, true…

Then, I was sent to prep,

And that’s where I grew…

You sent me out in the world,

With lots of fear in U…

You knew I would be hurled,

So, you stuck to me like glue…

And around U, I furled,

For my broken hopes to sew…

With floating drops of dew…

U corrected me now and then,

Though there are knots,
