The Wand Of Wizardry
The Wand Of Wizardry
I woke up in the morning with a stick in my hand.
It looked something dogs play with, or it could be some wet molded sand!
I gave it a wave and watched it spark, ruining my whole room.
I realized it was a magic wand for a witch with a broom.
I pointed the wand towards me and circled it around my face.
But this time it didn't do anything, it didn't leave a single trace.
How the wand got here, I don't know! Maybe it was an accident.
Or maybe it wasn't a coincidence, and this was my moment!
I flicked the wand towards my bed and on it appeared a cat.
Then I waved it towards my door and on it appeared a mat.
I got up from my bed and waved the wand around myself.
I appeared fully dressed, now I could do magic like an elf!
I went out to the living room, my mum in shock.
For I had gotten ready so fast, five minutes on the clock!
I left for school, bright and early, a cunning look on my face.
For me and time were going to have a really quick race.
I watched my boring teacher mark everyone off. I waved my wand,
it made him severely go all day, cough, cough, cough.
Too distracting by coughing, the teacher didn't notice.
That in a wave of my wand I would give the school a day off as a bonus.
The whole school cheered as the bell rang, and they happily pranced home.
Nothing was impossible when my wand and I were alone!
