The Venom
The Venom
Eyes so beautiful
Luring me deep
Heard the warning bells
Frightening me of scars
That can never be healed
Should've run away
Mesmerized stupefied by your touch
Breathless as you come close
Sting of your venom melted me thin
As it travelled bit by bit I ached for more
Didn't resist. Didn't quiver.
Entwined with my blood
Couldn't tell which is which
Never did I know
I'd burn a hole in my heart
For I'm just another one of your prey
My bones crushing from the pain
Knowing I'll never be her
The one you desire
It travelled like fire
Eating me piece by piece
Ripping me off my skin
Destined to happen
But I have no regrets
For I've at least been your prey
And your venom can never be taken away
