The Valley
The Valley
As I rode on the foothills of the valley,
The anxiety of the present and future slipped past my mind,
All I could think and possibly perceive, were the tracks that lay in front of me,
It was as if the cool breeze had sucked my mundane existence and replaced it with zest.
As I left the manic and vexing urban life behind,
I happened to experience this surreal feeling of extreme lightness,
It was as if the gravity had no command over me.
As I progressed through the slopes and turns of the valley,
I happened to sense an instant control of my actions,
It was as if my existential burden had no weight on me.
As I rode through the unfenced tracks of the deep gorge with my head full of emotions,
I happened to realize the vulnerability and fragility of this so-called life,
It was as if totality had consumed me.
As the slopes gradually declined and the turns became finer,
I happened to comprehend that the journey was nearing it's destination,
But, never had I felt the urge to not stop,
So, I did not.....
