The Unexpected Summer...

This is an unexpected summer 

Which we didn't look for either

It brought out new talents in us rather

But may this not extend further 

Parents make a list for a day or two

Children want to play but the ground is infected too..

Did you wash your hands longer? 

Have you made your immunity stronger? 

As they say this may pass on faster... 

The social media lives we are habituated to

And the challenges we are going through... 

Let us follow the instructions of our warriors 

And let us become the barriers...

To the dreadful battle that we are fighting

In this unplanned summer
