 life   dark   eyes   bright 

All this time I was surrounded by dark,

Knowing it was me doing it from the start,

Yet I still ached for a bit of light, but never once did I try to make it bright,


Those stars that I believed were my way out,

Were nothing but a distraction to hold me down,

The sun that I believed would hurt my eyes,

In reality of life was the one that actually held the true shine...
