His Light
His Light
He was drowned so far in the sea of his own sins
That no rope could ever pull him back
Until the day she came along and released him
From the dark confines of his own soul.
She showed him
Beauty beneath the scars,
The light behind the dark,
The truth behind the lies.
Showed him
What it meant to be loved,
What it means to love
The fragments of his broken soul
That were scattered around
Slowly they started to heal ...
And then finally he started to feel.
