Spring-Filled Friendship

Spring-Filled Friendship

'Under the shades of the bridge that can even darken the shadows,

I saw a flower-like beloved swiftly chasing the dark by its tail.

There were no bees humming over that flower,

As they have drunken the light its beauty radiated, the light of innocence.

Even in the silence, there was a sharp clamor praising her for what it was.

Nothing, but everything!

Her laughter floated in the air, like the sound of anklets once worn by a princess.

What a fool I was, loving to squander there in the vicinity of her presence.

Out from a distance, she then found me looking at her and asked:

‘Who are you, the seeker, hiding behind the leaves of time?

Are you the one who has been sending me flowers that shone with my face in them?'

I know I cannot reach you now.

I know that you have been waiting,

With nothing but a reddish streak of memories you had once found in the corner of my life.

You need not to think that I do not know you, recognize you.

When I’ll meet you, I want you to come to me with flowers from the garden of your thoughts.

I want you to say all that you haven’t yet said to me, but thought of.

In the joy of being there with each other, we will sing the songs resembling our bond,

Songs of spring-filled friendship...
