Nostalgia – A Christmas eve

Fraud covers a wide swath across the spectrum of our lives

Love of family is precious, giving us the strength in how we thrive

Fraud & love can do harm, protect your soul as you grow older.

Wealth is a valuable asset, charity shows compassion

Envy is a conscious desire to own what others have

Fraud & love struggle with each other, the heart is fragile.

Greed is a politician’s path to get into your wallet

Protect what you have & be generous with what you give

fraud & love can cripple you, show love when others deserve it.

And so, began the Christmas Eve!

I was walking for hours across the streets

Filled with all sorts of sounds with faceless people,

Not one of them notices a person walking all alone with a hood on his head;

Oblivious of my presence which doesn’t make much difference to any.

For a moment, it felt like I was unconscious

felt like it was a dream

but as I walked dragging all the snow under my feet,

I remembered taking a stroll across the park some quarter ago

But my loneliness made it seem like a dream.

I carry on forth walking with the same composure

With some loud music in my pocket,

I walk amidst all those differing cherishing sounds.

The young children & the kids

Celebrating with utmost excitement.

I was a stranger to them all

Greeting whoever passed my way.

I was strolling straight & tall

The thundering sounds & the uproar did not affect me at all.

I was all alone & lost within myself

The reminiscence of those childhood memories

That nostalgic moment brought a perfect curve onto my lips

I wished I was severe & younger

So, that I could shatter all the crackers & cacophonies

I wished I remained the same forever

To confront all the delectations better

Then I realized my life is about to end.
