Drenched Thoughts
Drenched Thoughts
Beauty doesn’t always mean a person’s beauty
my poetry begins with nature’s touch
fraud covers a wide spectrum of our lives.
Love of a family is precious,
giving us the strength in how we thrive
fraud and love can do harm,
protect your soul as you grow older.
Wealth is an asset, charity shows compassion
envy is a conscious desire to own what others have
fraud and love struggle with each other, heart is fragile.
Greed is a path to our wallets,
protect what you have and be generous with what you give
fraud and love can cripple you, show love when others deserve it.
I was walking across the streets
filled with sounds and faceless people,
Not one notices a person walking with hood over his head
All oblivious of my presence.
It felt like a dream,
I was unconsciously dragging snow under my feet,
as the raindrops fell on my head,
the onset of monsoon made me stronger than usual.
It swept me from my feet,
I felt the breeze carrying me in its arms,
I wished I was younger,
I wished my beauty could remain forever.
The reminiscence of those childhood memories,
Brought a curve on my lips.
