It Was When I First Saw Him
It Was When I First Saw Him
A year passed by to our amour,
And we couldn’t meet even for once.
It was all a virtual love, heard of in fantasies,
The rhymes of which were sung by fairy-tale beauties!
Trials on trials went failed,
Neither could he nor could I make.
For the Nature had pre-written our destiny,
Which was to form a disparate chemistry!
Nonetheless, but it was to happen,
And yet again a dummy run was chanced.
He strived to make up the meet,
With all his vigor, love and red-heat!
Dressed up in excite for the day,
I could feel butterflies swirling in stomach.
Rushing my heartbeats, the phone popped,
Displaying a message he had dropped!
“I’ve reached outside your college, Love”,
Were the words his text read.
And all what I could then manage to do,
Was to blush & smile without any blue!
Waiting for the lecture to end,
I gave my bestie a hurry look.
And yes, she could see it through my red cheek,
The spring blooming in that holy week!
Sprinting and darting towards college doorway,
The folks could feel me flying.
Yet, I tried to calm before stepping out,
My blush and heart were already put on sprout!
Walking down the lanes and alley,
My eyes couldn’t cease searching for him.
“Uhh damn! You aren’t here I knew”,
Was my harsh thrash, as I broke through!
“Look upright there, the tall guy”, he said
And my eyes sparkled with shimmers.
Just then I began to scamper,
Like a tiny tot cribbing for some pamper!
Getting into his skin and muscles,
I clutched that lad within my arms.
Love and romance then bloomed as whim,
After-all,
It was when I first saw him!
