The Time to Unite
The Time to Unite
Days since we were shoved into an angst
Channels flooded with turmoil
As I watched the world in peril
I sit helplessly, believing the myth
“It will be alright.”
While pain and suffering ruled over us
And chaos walked freely in the streets
A mystery arose of how it all started
With no answers yet for this obscurity
Gone are the days where I would envy the travelers
For all that is left now are their lost memories with us
What have we become; I question?
Needlessly waiting for a futile retort;
Grief and sorrow the only companion
The unsolicited yet an impending partner
The struggle seems so real
But we face more than one
Together yet divided
Tides of healing we wish to bear
To overcome the officious trauma we face
Letting go and stand united
The only policy we can sketch
For an unknown yet propitious future
